All October long - together with your support - we have generated powerful forces to change this world for the better. We loved on 50 breast cancer patients undergoing treatment at this past WeGive Day at Providence St Jude Fullerton. We reminded each one that her beautiful butterfly wings are growing in. How poignant it is to put smiles on their faces, to see grateful tears in their eyes, and to witness the power of hope and the resilience of their beautiful hearts.

It took me years to find my way back to the light after a breast cancer diagnosis at 35. I found my voice by helping others and by becoming an active ambassador, advisory board member, and volunteer for the The Breast Cancer Fundraiser. I pray every day we find a cure, but until we do we will preserve the dignity of patients by working tirelessly to create a world where no breast cancer patients feels alone.

The BCF helped me turn my pain into grit and passion; helping others has helped me find my greater purpose. When you volunteer y’all, you light a path for others to follow. The butterfly effect is about creating these indelible ripples of good. Light of path of service and others will follow.

With gratitude for every breath,
